OUR TIME-TESTED CONCRETE COATING PROCESS

STEP 1

In order for the coating to adhere, we will need to grind it. This opens the pores of the substrate so the coating can make a permanent bond.

STEP 2

We must “V” cut and clean out any cracks with a blade. Our mender will then fill the crack and any pitting the surface might have. Once our mender is cured, we will grind it smooth.

STEP 3

Our 100% solids Polyurea base coat will then be applied. Our base coat seeks out moisture in the concrete making a chemical bond with the surface.

STEP 4

To insure uniform coverage we over broadcast the chip color of your choice. The chip will give the coating some texture. This adds slip resistance but with a texture that is easy to clean!

STEP 5

Since we over broadcast, we must scrape any extra chip that didn’t adhere to the base coat. This gives the floor a consistent texture.

STEP 6

Our Polyaspartic top coat gives the floor a beautiful shiny finish. Our top coat is salt, rust, and abrasion resistant. A perfect finish to any floor.

Curing can take 3-5 days, depending upon heat and humidity.
Sometimes contains VOC’s. Not the best choice for indoor spaces.
No warranty. Often chips, cracks or peels within the first 5 years.
Yellows and peels under UV light. Slippery when wet.
